Max Torque Gives Back to the Houston Community

Houston is home to Max Torque Industrial’s headquarters and is integral to our future growth and success. We’re proud to be a member of the Houston community and we’re deeply committed to supporting it.

That’s why we’re launching a very special program and we invite you to get involved in helping us make a difference. During the next 12 months, Max Torque will donate 5 percent of the proceeds of all new contracts for MTI services to Houston Children’s Charity, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Greater Houston’s underprivileged, abused and disabled children who have been otherwise left behind.

By working with MTI whenever you need industrial services, you’ll play an important role in supporting this remarkable organization that provides so much to the children of Houston. As always, you’ll also benefit from our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of safety, customer service and environmental responsibility.

We look forward to partnering with you to give back to the community that has been so generous to us.

Max Torque Attends the GHP Energy Benchmarking Conclave

Max Torque Industrial
, a proud member of the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) recently attended the Energy Industry Workforce Benchmarking Conclave held on May 23, 2012. The benchmarking was very educational as well as alarming. Based on what the experts have presented, the talent pipeline for degreed students searching for industry positions has been stifled considerable over the year. We are currently in an alarming position with regard to job placement….there are more retirees coming out of the workforce and not enough new hires to meet the demand.

Speakers Included committee chair Marshall Schott, vice chair Al Escher Area Director, North & South America for SchlumbergerElizabeth GoemaatMembership Associate at API and Doug Whipple Director Organizational Effectiveness for The Dow Chemical Company. There were also panelists present: Ron Hinn of Petroskills, Jamie Barnhardt of Chevron Energy Technology Company and Mike Alvarez of Shell Oil Company. All of the guest speakers had very useful information to convey, one of the most exciting news mentioned during the event was delivered by Doug Whipple of the The Dow Chemical Company. Dow has been given approval to build one of the largest ethylene cracker’s in the U.S., more to come on this exciting Dow Chemical news.
